Assessment of fibrinogen level among Sudanese patient with myocardial infarction in Khartoum City- Sudan

Fibrinogen has been identified as a major independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Myocardial infarction is cardiomyocyte death result of prolonged ischemia. The aim this study was to determine fibrinogen level in Sudanese patients with myocardial infarction. A case control conducted AL-Shaab Hospital and Sudan heart center at Khartoum state, Sudan. total 100 participants were enrolled the study; 50 apparently healthy individuals control. blood Samples collected 3.2 % trisodium citrate measured using ready kits principle. data analysed by statistical package social sciences version 21. revealed that higher (MI) compared normal individuals. There significant strong positive correlation between Troponin-1 Level 0.05 level.
